My employees are beginning a "six-week body makeover" diet and exercise plan tomorrow, so I've decided to join them, only with my own thing. I'm going back to the Weight Watchers Points program. (I was pretty successful with it a while back until I abandoned it during my "I can eat what I want, because I'm trying to get pregnant" phase.)

I'm trying to prove a point, I suppose. I'm a fan of lifestyle change, not crash dieting. I really do believe that moderation is the key. Cutting out entire categories of food usually leads to feelings of deprivation, and therefore to failure or relapse.

Yeah, I know. Not the best motivation for actually starting the diet that I've been threatening to start since the baby was born. But sometimes any motivation will do, as long as it gets you moving.

I know most of the people that come to this community are here because they have no problem eating. In fact, we excel at it. Sometimes, however, there are things we have problems eating, such as foods from certain recommend food groups or meals, such as breakfast. Do any of you have this issues and what have you done about it?

For me, breakfast is always a struggle. I am usually rushing in the morning and not that hungry but I know it is a very important meal. I've been better at eating breakfast since I started my diet but what if it becomes an issue again? Any suggestions?

Welcome, friends, to You, LLC., a place to share tips, triumphs, struggles, questions, concerns and yes, even recipes regarding getting healthy and taking charge of your life. I hope this community will be a helpful tool for anyone on a journey to improve their physical wellbeing. I have always felt that one of the most important components to any plan to change yourself is to have people that will support you along the way, a cheering section of sorts. People that have made the same journey or are making the journey with you.

As the song goes, we all get by with a little help from our friends.
